For about 40 years, we have played a Liverpool rummy that is very similar, but has the concept of perfect hands, which I do not see referenced in the different rummy games. We play hands 5-7 as perfect- meaning the person lays down 3 runs (hand 7, for example) with all card fitting into the 3 runs including the card picked up that turn. therefore all other players are set their points for those 3 hands.

Anyone out familiar with the "perfect" hand concept or origin? I am in Michigan, USA.

We have always played that when a Joker is used in a set the the player calls the color that the joker stands for. The rules do not say and we have a player that says you don't do that.

What do you say?

Hello yalls, I got this old canasta board its wooden, the year on it looks like it says 1943 or 1948 but its a little blurry it still has its original pegs, it has an original paper bag over it that says canasta its a little ripped. I have no idea what its worth so if someone can give me a price range I would really appreciate it. I can take a picture if needed. Thank you Hidee.

Hello Alexwebmaster,
Please share with us a little information about the game of Russian Rummy in your country. Tell us if it is played in Russia and let us know about other rummy games played there. If rummy is not popular, what card games are?

There are many strategy tips to give to all Rummy players, but there is one main tip, the best thing some players told me and im keep telling it to all my players friend.

PLAY TO KNOCK - remember that your goal to win is to knock. Every card you take, every meld you do, any card you lay on the table, always remember that you are playing to knock !!!

Good luck.
